I am currently a first-year Ph.D. student at The University of Hong Kong, majoring in astrophysics. I started working on CubeSat development and gamma-ray burst (GRB) data analysis as an undergraduate at Nanjing University, where I earned my B.S. in Physics in 2023 and M.S. in Astronomy in 2025.
My primary research interest is the GRB central engine and its associated astrophysical phenomena. The focus of my recent researches has been on analyzing and interpreting the prompt emission phase of GRB observations, and understanding different astrophysical phenomena related to the central engine, especially of the peculiar ones, such as GRB 211211A, GRB 230307A and GRB 231115A.
Additionally, as the Transient Advocate (TA) of the Einstein Probe (EP) Mission, I concentrate on the extragalactic fast X-ray transients detected by EP, especially the multi-messenger observations and follow-ups of EP-detected GRBs. I have led the analysis of the first EP-detected GRB 240219A/EP240219a, and identified a distinct spectral evolution pattern in fast X-ray transients revealing the transition from GRB prompt emission to afterglow by studying a bright GRB 250404A/EP250404a.
